Translation error in MS-Word

The other day when I was using Word, I noticed the Danish translation of the “avoid orphans” feature, which made me look twice: “Beskyt mod horeunger” (Protect against whore’s babies)…

The word “horeunge” is an insulting way of calling a child who has been conceived outside of marriage, i.e. by adultery (or if you are a prostitute and have a child and evil people comment on it).

Another noteworthy detail – “Attributes” has been translated directly into “attributter” instead of “egenskaber” some places. “Attributter” is an old (but still used) Danish word meaning tits.
