Bush campaign's out-and-out law breaking

The Swiftboat Vets are a 527 organization which means it is illegal for them to coordinate their campaign with Bush-Cheney’04. Last week we learned that one of the vets is an advisor to the Bush campaign. Today we learn that the Bush-Cheney’04 lawyer reviewed their plans and gave feedback. It’s obvious that Bush is doing this because he knows he won’t win and is getting desperate.

Kubler-Ross experiences 6th phase: death

PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, an internationally known psychiatrist, author and expert on death and dying who became a pioneer for hospice care, has died, her family said. She was 78.

Kubler-Ross, who suffered a series of strokes in 1995, died Tuesday of natural causes at home.

Kubler-Ross’ 1969 book “On Death and Dying” was a best seller with her theory that the dying go through five stages of grief -- denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

Grover Norquist found dead in a bathtub

WASHINGTON DC -- Norquist, famous for his widely quoted comment that he wants to shrink government “down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub” was ironically found dead by police officers this morning in his Washington, D.C. home after drowning in a bathtub. Police are considering it an accidental death and report there are no signs of wrong-doing.

Norquist was known for hosting a weekly power breakfast that sets the right-wing “message” agenda for the next week. People that do not abide by the “message of the week” would find themselves locked out of access to the Whitehouse staff, even though Norquist held no official elected or appointed position in the government.

Norquist is survived by his wife Sara, who is under investigation for ties to radical Islamic extremists.
