WASHINGTON DC -- Norquist, famous for his widely quoted comment that he wants to shrink government “down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub” was ironically found dead by police officers this morning in his Washington, D.C. home after drowning in a bathtub. Police are considering it an accidental death and report there are no signs of wrong-doing.Wow, now if that don’t be the end-all, be-all of news stories. read his bio hereNorquist was known for hosting a weekly power breakfast that sets the right-wing “message” agenda for the next week. People that do not abide by the “message of the week” would find themselves locked out of access to the Whitehouse staff, even though Norquist held no official elected or appointed position in the government.
Norquist is survived by his wife Sara, who is under investigation for ties to radical Islamic extremists.
