I'm in London!
May. 15th, 2004 12:59 amSo, what do you do when you join a company and find that the London office network is seriously FUBAR? You hop on an airplane and fix the shit out of it. Wow, only $600 for the ticket even though it was 24-hour notice. Luckily I'm staying the weekend. More reports soon, if I have time.
Oh, and all of this could have been prevented if the people that did the last major "upgrade" had either taken my "Introduction to Massive Upgrades and Changes" 1/2-day tutorial, or read Chapter 11 of my damn book. And dang it... its the chapter that opens with my favorite joke! They don't know what they're missing!
