As you may have heard, I've left my job and I'm going to Vermont for a few months to volunteer with the Dean Campaign. Before I go, I'm having one last party.
  • DATE: Tuesday, December 30th (the day BEFORE New Years Eve!)
  • TIME: 7pm-11pm
  • WHERE: My place in Scotch Plains, NJ
  • WHO: All my friends! (Yes, this is a kid-safe party!)
NOTE: This will also be a fundraiser for Howard Dean. There is an optional $10 donation requested for the Dean campaign, plus at 9:30pm everyone is invited to hear a live message from Howard Dean via phone. This party is 311 days before the election and we hope to raise $311 for the campaign.

I PROMISE NO MAJOR DEAN PROPAGANDA (except from 9-10pm).

You have the power to make this a fun and memorable event!!

For directions, or if you have any questions, please contact me at yesthattom@livejournal.com

Hey, I wish I could go (sounds great!), but there's this inconvenient thing about being on the opposite end of the country. However, I'd like to find out if I can participate in my small distant way, by sending you a contribution to help you get to your goal. How might I do that? PayPal, or something?

Hi Tom. We wanted to go too, but it's just too far away for a school night (I think it's a 2-hour drive). Have fun and good luck in Vermont. It's beautiful there. And remember, when your car door freezes shut (and it will) just dump a bucket of hot water on it and open it real fast before it freezes up again, and then pray that the car starts. You'll do fine.
