Is it possible to view everyone's "status" messages on one page? ...including all history? Sort of like a twitter feed or LJ feed.

The "Status Updates" tab seems to do what you're asking for.

it doesn't seem to work consistently.. like it misses people's updates. I go in and individually check people's updates by clicking on their names sometimes.

There's also an RSS feed of that page, which is nice. I just pull that into my RSS Reader, and don't worry too much about it.
