Discussing energy policy, which has this week emerged as the central issue of the Presidential campaign, Miss Hilton endorses a combination of Mr McCain's plan to increase offshore oil drilling and Mr Obama's scheme to offer more incentives for new energy technology.

She signs off: "Energy crisis solved! I'll see you at the debates."

Mr McCain's campaign spokesman, Tucker Bounds, said "Paris Hilton might not be as big a celebrity as Barack Obama, but she obviously has a better energy plan."
