Reminds me of the device I saw advertised on TV a few months back--the "email address" that was hooked up to an HP printer hooked to a phone line. I guess it calls in periodically and if there is mail it prints it out like a fax machine. It clearly was marketed to technical people who have elderly relatives who can't be bothered with that "com-pyoo-tur" stuff.
I liked tisp because it reminds me of the time Peter (who ran EBone, the European commercial internet backbone) modified the world-wide BGP tables so that internet traffic heading for RS' service area (AS) was routed to Peter's house. Specifically to his bathroom. RS sent a message to one of the BGP admin lists asking in public why his packets were going to Peter's toilet.
