The company that made the computers used by Hollywood to generate Jurassick Park, and scientists used to map DNA, is now barely a shell of its former self.
In fairness, they've been a shadow of their former self for years now. It's sad to see them go, though, they were an awesome place to work when times were good.
SGI should rise from the ashes with a kick-ass gaming console. They could even call it Phoenix.
What SGI did for the video industry years ago, they could do for the "new" video industry today -- the video *gaming* industry. Wonder if there's any engineers still left there to even pull off something like this.
