Making Mac MS-Excel act more like Win MS-Excel

Preferences:
View -> checkmark ON "Formula bar"
Edit -> remove checkmark "Edit directly in cell"

The only remaining problem is that the cell that the cursor is on is highlighted with the very faint square around it. People like me with bad eyes wish it was more obvious.

Active cell highlight is based on the system selection highlight.

Both myself and Ying thank you. This is exactly what the doctor ordered!

I now have it set to a sharply contrasting magenta which looks totally ugly on purpose. It's now always VERY easy to see what's highlighted.
