I'm watching the 10/23/2005 episode "They Asked Me Why I Believe in You" (yeah, I'm a little behind) and there is a scene were Felicity Huffman is in a bar dancing to a song. It's the same song that is used in a bar scene when she was on the TV show "Sports Night".

This can't be unintentional.

I wish I had Kevin's[1] email address so I can write and ask if it was on purpose. Of course, by asking the question it would just prompt him to humor me and say, "Wow, how did you know!?! So observant of you!"

well, that and it's already mentioned in the 'Trivia' section on IMDB for Desperate Housewives. So it's not like it's gone unnoticed by the hoi polloi :-)

I adored SportsNight. That episode you're mentioning had Dana thrown out of a bar for dancing on a table, so she dances to that song in the office. Good stuff.

I loved SN so much, I actually refuse to watch West Wing, because I'm bitter that it receives all the accolades that I think Aaron Sorkin's first child deserved. Yep.

Well, I watched it for part of last season and thought it was a little too soapy for me--but I have to support fellow Drew alums, especially ones I know!!
