While the Radical Christian Fundamentalists predicted the end of the world, New Jersey’s Domestic Partnership law seems to be doing quite well. Only 6 months old, 2,640 same-sex couples and 42 opposite-sex couples have registered. (about half and half, male and female).

Congrats to The New Jersey Lesbian and Gay Coalition for making this happen!

My heterosexual marriage is threatened!

i was listening to the radio recently and some news show was doing a "top 10 news stories of the year in MA", and number 2 was the world series, and i thought "wait, what possibly beats out the sox winning the series??"

and then number 1 was same sex marriage in this state and i realized that -- as expected -- it's been such a non-event once it started happening. people are getting married and it's all good.
