Ok, folks, the nice people at PFLAG Queens are giving me this award and *please* don’t make me attend the ceremony without knowing anyone in the audience. It’s $50 per ticket, and the venue is the very nice Riccardo’s 21-01 24th Avenue. Astoria NY. It’s at 1pm a week from Sunday (today). For more info click here.

Crazy idea of the week

You know that Fred Phelps guy that protests at funerals of anyone that died of AIDS? Well, how about we create an organization which finds parents that have kicked their kids out of the house because they came out, and we do big protests right at their doorstep.
I even have the perfect name for the organization: “Welcome Home”. Just like Phelps, it wouldn’t do anything to help the problem but it would bring attention to the issue.
