George Miller (D-Calif.) and other members of the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee for failing to be a “team player,” signaling that the Democratic leadership intention to impose a strict regimen of party discipline in the 109th Congress.

At least that’s what I think happened. At 1pm today Steve Jobs was at the biiiig Apple conference giving his keynote and at the same time Howard Dean was in Washington D.C. making a big speech too. It was difficult to listen to both at the same time, but I believe Steve Jobs announced that he’s running for DNC Chair, and Howard Dean introduced a new iPod (the “shuffle”), the Mac Mini, and some other new products. The new Mac Mini runs a 50-state strategy rather than just focusing on the swing states. Jobs said that the DNC is much more affordable especially considering that most people will reuse the monitor they previously used on their PC.
