Yeah, I watched those earlier today, and I think they're the first Kerry ads I've seen so far for the general election that might actually sway some votes. They could be a good use of money. I really wish we had a candidate who could run against Bush as effectively on the issues as Kerry can on his military record, but I guess he's gotta use what he has. Military service, the environment, women's issues, and ... does Kerry have anything else he's not so compromised on that he can't make an effective case against Bush about? Rumors are he's seriously considering Edwards and Gephardt as VP candidates. He's already half conceded the war to Bush, if he picks up an openly pro-Iraq war VP candidate it'll be a lost cause. Gah. Well, at least these ads might do some good, as depressing as it is in context.
