On April 1st, FSF should announce the release of the own license server. Explaining that it includes all the priniciples that they encourage (openness, lack of DRM, and so on), the "server" would be /dev/null and the "client" would be a symbolic link to /bin/true.

Ah, but it would also suggest that the FSF has a sense of humour about anything licensing-related, which I believe modern science has been hitherto unable to detect..

Um, I think you're thinking of public domain, not free software.

The GPL is actually a pretty strict license.
