I never believe the hype
Feb. 28th, 2008 08:08 pmCisco is hyping this major announcement on March 4th as if they’re going to announce that they’ve figured out how to travel faster than light, perpetual motion machines, and perfect crypto.
I suspect that they haven’t broken the laws of physics. Since they don’t do R&D, but instead buy young startups, I have to believe that they can’t really make a big breakthrough and keep it secret. If they’ve found “the god particle” or cold fusion, it would be in the scientific journals long before Cisco could announce it.
However.... the videos are funny and cute. Not “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC”-funny, but pretty creative.
