Wow. That brought tears to my eyes. I've been a big fan of Bono and what he's trying to accomplish for a long time. But it's been a while since I've heard him talk about it. And watching an "almost pink" (heh) Irish boy win an honor of that magnitude from the NAACP, and watching that crowd leap to its feet because what he said was so inspiring, just gave me another moment of hope that maybe, just maybe, this world isn't totally f*cked yet.
