Obama Rally Part III

yesthattomSo finally Obama gets to the mic (he entered along with the Kenedies). Long speech, not the most inspired, but he did spend time recanting the common things people say against him, mostly explaining that while he is full of hope, he has the experience from fighting in the streets for all people.
(sorry to not capture the emotion of the room, I’m not that good of a writer, but everyone was very excited and moved... though not as moved as, say, his famous 2004 speech at the DNC)
When it was over he walked into the crowd and “pressed the flesh” as the press took tons of pictures and stuff. I hung out and watched, took pictures, etc. Then drove home.
