GV had terrible sales this year due to drugstore.com and other powerhouses starting to sell sensual merchandise. They were looking for an investor for the last few months and finally found one. The new investor owns a number of “adult” stores but wants to be involved in the feminist, cleaner, high-class segment of the market. With their economic power they will be able to open up stores around the country. Will there be a GV in your town soon? Not likely YOUR town, but many towns. :)

Now I look at their site and I see...what? Pages and pages of identical smoothly-inoffensive high-end German machines and not a whole lot that seems new or different. I don't own a BMW car or bike, and it turns out I'm not a BMW shopper in the sex toy area, either.
