Peanuts voice at work.
Mar. 7th, 2007 06:15 pmToday at work I went to a -hour training session taught by a fellow engineer at work. Her voice was, well, reminded me of the female character voices on those Peanuts TV specials from the 60s/70s. It was actually very fun to listen to. She didn’t do the pauses that the voices did in the cartoons (you know what I mean? “Charlie Brown (pause) I don’t think you know (pause) what Thanksgiving (pause)..”) but otherwise it sounded like that. I guess it was that voice, grown up. I felt somewhat comforted by this.
Then I realized that I knew a little about her. She once told me that she grew up in California. It dawned on me that the voices in the Charlie Brown cartoons were most likely done by people that grew up in California. It can’t just be a coincidence!
I think I’d really like to hang out with her socially.
