I been saying that the Democratic Party will see the “real change” that nay sayers say won’t come the moment 50% plus $1 of their fundraising comes from individuals, not corporations. I’ve cheered the “Democracy Bonds” program and other efforts. The DNC treasurer’s report highlighted that they’re getting closer and closer:

More than 1.2 million Democrats contributed to the DNC in the 2005-2006 cycle, up from 750,000 in the comparable period four years earlier, with the number of Internet contributors up nearly 12-fold.

Closer and closer.
