This is an interesting mash-up. Combine the "recent earthquakes" data with Google Maps. Um... wait, Alabama? I guess a M 2.5 isn't so big. Growing up on the east coast means I don't know much about the big shakey-shakey.

Date: 2006-05-16 09:48 pm (UTC)For that matter a 1.0 is... someone walking heavy in your house. Sometimes I'll see those earthquake maps and up to 3.0 I'm always thinking "Shoot, I didn't notice it! Damn!"
It's doubtful anyone in Alabama felt that one except someone exactly on top of it. Too bad that Google Maps doesn't combine the WhitePages with houses, and you could call people in that area, huh?
