Duh! It's the party of rich people who find thinking a burden. As Ted Williams once said, "If you don't think too good, don't think too much."

A few years ago Charles Barkley had a conversation with his grandmother that went something like this . . .
Grandma Barkley: Charles, how come you said on the TV that you're a Republican?
Charles: 'Cause I am one.
Grandma Barkley: That's crazy! Republicans are the party of the rich.
Charles: But grandma, I am rich.
