Programmer Analyst - NYU Law - Great Benefits!
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform application and systems programming for MIS and Web Services: Advise and consult with faculty and staff in the design, development, and implementation of database and Web services, including analyzing the feasibility of requests, providing guidance and training, and writing programs. Design flowcharts, code, test and debug new operating system programs and maintain existing administrative systems. Participate in the installation and maintenance of School’s Internet and Intranet web servers. Supervise staff. Report to Manager of MIS & Web Services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ relevant systems analysis, implementation, and programming experience, including web-based program design. Knowledge of Java, ColdFusionMX, Microsoft SQL, Oracle or relational database, HTML, CGI scripting, Windows OS, and MS Access. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Information Systems, experience with web server set-up, and knowledge of Java or J2EE and relational databases.
