Today I got a phone call from someone that found the remaining part... my datebook/organizer. I picked it up around noon. It’s wet so I might replace it anyway, but I have it back in one piece. Amazing.

I still can't believe that they didn't at least swipe the iPod and/or the laptop. I guess serial numbers make those items traceable so it makes them harder to fence these days, but still ... wow.

I'm starting to think it's more a stalker rather than theft, too. :-)

Oh, since I totally forgot to say it -- I am SO glad for you that even though your car was burgled, you recovered everything that you were concerned about losing.

Maybe there's a bug installed in your car, to listen to confidential cellphone conversations, and the theft is just a decoy to keep you from looking for it? :-)
