Bug in the software I'm using. When I'm not running iTunes, it keeps listing the last song.

does that mean you have something that automagically posts what you're listening to? Sounds interesting

I use iJournal for the Mac to post to LJ. It detects what iTunes is playing. (and has a button to click to manually update if it needs updating).

On iChat (the AIM client for Mac) there is an option to list your current iTunes track as your "location" text.
