My obligatory comment every time someone posts or pastes a capitolhillblue link: They're a rumor mill. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're passing one random inventions, and sometimes nobody can tell which it is. They're like the lefty version of Drudge. I just avoid reading their stuff, and let other people sort out the reality from the rumors.

I saw a comment from someone on Strata's LJ that there was also a retraction on that site, but I was unable to locate the retraction.

Didn't find a retraction. Did find what seems to be simultaneously an amplification and a step back ("He really said it" + "but it's a common sentiment for presidents, this is just a note about his temper").
