To hear the reich wing tell it, there is no news source other than the liberal media (except Fox, of course). I was having a long email discussion with my mother's cousin about a blatantly racist piece he mailed out about New Orleans. At one point in the exchange he claimed that he read and listened to several media sources who all agreed with each other on what was going on. And then he went to Fox News to find out the TRUTH. At that point I just gave up. I actually ended the discussion by quoting the Bible to him! Then I knew it was time to stop.
It is widely reported that Lewis "Scooter" Libby tipped Ms. Miller off about Valerie Plame. It only stands to reason that the prosecutor would therefore try to determine whether Libby's boss, Dick Cheney, ordered/encouraged him to do that. However, I've not seen any of the big media outlets say that in so many words.
*nod* as much as I trust the liberal media more than I trust the mainstream media, sometimes it's difficult to really trust it as news unless something that's not "your liberal media source" is reporting it. . .maybe I'm just not 'with' the blogosphere yet. . .
