I don't know... I'd be inclined to say that flashing one's hooters at a fellow who's living in a plexiglas box for a week is borderline cruel. :-)

Dude. Me too.

I guess I always wanted some way to be completely invisible and observe Burning Man, at a distance. The problem with being a spectator is that you are participating in that you are actively not contributing anything, and that directly effects the results. So, having a completely (cloaked, air-conditioned, mobile) observation platform would be optimal.

Some people think I'm completely missing the point. I like to think that I'm just doing it on my terms.

that's the problem with your idea.
even having the camera population explosion changes the event, since people don't want to perform for non-participants.

however, I was going to comment and say "hey, who are you, if not mangosteen, and what have you done with yesthtattom?"

(I'll try to find this guy when i get to the playa tomorrow)

That's the thing. If no one even knew I was there, it would work. As soon as one is actively observing, and is noticed, it changes the structure of the event.

Now, this all being said, cloaking technology of the kind I desire does not exist.
