"The Gates" in Central Park

yesthattomC and I went to see “The Gates” in Central Park on Monday. C has the week off, I had the day off for President’s day. It was *beautiful*. Stunning. The contrast was amazing. NY is completely monochromatic in the winter. Imagine the beautiful contrast if you took a black and white photo and streaked bright lipstick through it. Now do that at the grand scale the size of Central Park in New York City. It snowed the night before so it was a different experience than people described last week. It was also pretty packed with people. I guess a lot of people had President’s day off.
It’s there for a few more days. If you are local, I highly recommend you go to see it. We spent an hour there wandering around. If you are local you can do it easily by taking a half day off from work. And soon it will be gone as quickly as it came.
