One step closer to an iMac
Jan. 3rd, 2003 11:00 amI'm thinking about getting a macintosh laptop. I'm a Unix freak, and I've never had a Mac before, so I'd have to get over all my issues with a 1-button mouse, etc. (yeah, you can buy 3-button mouses but that doesn't make my laptop's surface mouse suddently split into 3).
Today I read on www.apple.com about iCal. It sounds like my dream calendar. Network-centric, multiple views, etc. etc. All the things I've always wanted.
Then I realized that the real power of iCal would be if all my lovers used it too.
Dang. I can't afford to buy a new mac for everyone I sleep with.

Re: a rose is a rose is a rose - is it?

What Apple seems to have done on their server is exceptionally cooler than everyone else.
