We at the Rockridge Institute wish all of our friends a happy Thanksgiving holiday.
To help you through those sometimes
difficult family conversations, we’re posting for download a chapter
from George Lakoff’s recent book, Don’t Think of an Elephant!: Know Your Values and Frame the Debate. See our website for Chapter
10, “How to Respond to Conservatives” and try out those tips and
approaches with family members and guests you’d like to enlighten.

the Rockridge Institute and Business Leaders for Sensible Priorities. George Lakoff will present key insights from the Rockridge
Institute on framing and moral politics, and Rob Stein will present his
research on the vast and well-funded infrastructure of conservative
organizations that has fueled the Conservative’s rise. The two
presentations will be followed by a panel discussion and a reception
where speakers, panelists and guests can talk informally.
When: Saturday: December 4, 2004 - 1:00 pm – 4:45 pm (Registration: 12:30 pm)
