Fucktard

I really like the flow and poetry of the term ‘fucktard.’ Sadly, I can’t use it at work, or in polite company, or outside of work, and I resist using it on LJ or risk being called rude. So I guess I won’t use it at all.

In the case of the red states it is a fitting term. I understand why you would not use it since you sort of have a national profile and with building bridges between communities it may not be a good idea to use such salty language. But for someone like me, who has no use for politics other then to laugh at it. I use fucktard for glee and delight.

A proud and mighty gimp of my acquaintance used it in her blog once, and was called on the carpet for using the suffix -tard in a derogatory fashion, which certainly makes sense. I’m also not fond of using “fuck” derogatorily. All of which is unfortunate, since you’re right, it has a great sound to it. (It also sucks that I don’t like to use “sucks”.)

Fucktardic Bastards is still my favorite curse phrase. My sympathies on your mostly fucktard-less vocabulary. (Though I must say, writing a blog entry on the word itself is a fantastic way to sneak it in.)
