As much as I don't want a draft... wouldn't it be worthless to GLBT(rest of the alphabet) folks? "You want to draft me? Sorry I'm bisexual and here's my boyfriend..."
Or can they still draft people under "don't ask, don't tell" regardless of whether they're gay or not?
The policy is currently to draft them anyway. Once they are in, they are brought up on charges and given a dishonorable discharge, which means it's difficult to get a job, loan, etc. for the rest of their life.
That's not nice. So they'd bring them in anyway knowing that they were gay and THEN make their lives a living hell? Welll, not like I had any respect for our government at this time anyway...
