http://www.swingstateproject.com/ claims that NJ is now a “safe state” for Kerry and I think that’s bullshit. It is only a safe state if we keep up the pressure, keep up the GOTV efforts, etc. Today is the last day to register. Register, damn you! ...and then VOTE!

If you live in NJ and aren’t registered to vote (but are qualified to vote), then please remove yourself from my “friends” list. Or, fill out this form and be registered.

I was down at Jen & Phil's last night/this morning, and someone stole their Kerry/Edwards sign.

So this totally freakin adorable guy in a mini cooper stopped by, rang the doorbell and asked if I wanted a new sign--he'd go bring one back for us. I was like "Hell yeah!" He came back, nailed it up with 6 nails and said "those fuckin' churchgoers down there are going to have their fuckin' hands full trying to rip that sign down!"

And we had such a nice conversation too :) Gave me his card (and his and his bf's #, etc..) said "Keep in touch!"

Gotta *love* politics! :)

And we were both like "Never this much into politics until Dean came along..." So see--Dean *has* made a difference.. he's gotten people not only to care, but to participate more than they would have normally! :) It's a good thing!
