Well it's called self-hatred and I have witnessed enough backbiting and backstabbing amongst progressive circles that I have considered becoming a republican. But I have too much love for myself to join a party that hates me. Look at Norma McCorvey aka Jane Doe, she became pro-life because she felt unwelcomed by the people at N.O.W. We in progressive communities can stand to be kinder to each other and not be so vicious.

She was also a target of a very focused befriending/conversion campaign by born-again Xtians as well. Most of us will never have anyone working that hard to win us over to the other side.

I am well-aware of that. I feel we should always treat people with kindness and not eat our owm. Norma McCorvey felt unwelcomed and unloved that she switched sides and if we are not kind to each other, how many others will we lose. People need to take responsibilty for their actions and strive to be kind to each other.
