  • Boston wins the world series. A good omen for Kerry.
  • Andrew Sullivan came out for Kerry yesterday. (I KNEW IT! I KNEW HE WOULD! THAT BASTARD WAS DENIGRATING KERRY BUT I KNEW HE SECRETLY WANTED KERRY!)
  • Even before that, an OpusComm Group poll last week found just 3 percent of gay voters saying they’ll back Bush this time, down from 25% last time (and 5% for Nader). 45,000 or so live in Florida
40,000 of them from the Bush ledger over to the Kerry ledger is an 80,000-vote swing in a state we “lost” by 537 votes last time.

If you read these LJs/blogs/sites then reading my blog is rather redundant: I get about 90% of my links from them.

I won’t have time to post much in the next few days because I’ll be volunteering nearly full time for Steve Brozak for Congress (NJ-7) from Saturday until Tuesday night. Now you can read the above links and not miss anything.

Always give way the secret to your success

Some people claim to have a “secret to their success” that they are afraid to reveal. I always give away my secrets because I believe in the multiplier of empowerment. That is, it doesn’t make me less powerful if people learn my techniques for time management, for system administration, activism, media work, etc. A rising tide raises all boats and empowering others doesn’t make you less powerful... it frees you up to do more exciting things. That’s one thing that Bush needs to learn. Helping the poor and middle class won’t hurt the rich. It actually helps them by making America better!
