I just listened to the first 3 hours of AirAmericaRadio, the new liberal radio station. The noon-3pm show is The O'Frankin Factor, hosted by Al Franken.

If the show is this good every day, they've got a real winner. It was funny, entertaining, funny, lots of big names, and did I mention funny? I'm sure that the right wing is preparing to badmouth everything about the show... from the parody of Ann Coulture (sp?) to the selection of guests.

I wonder if AirAmerica, which is a paintball supply company, is getting a huge number of hits to their web site. The proper URL is http://www.airamericaradio.com/ of course.

And yes, you can listen to it via the internet.

Please tune in and show your support right now on one of these stations:
New York, NY — WLIB 1190 AM
Los Angeles, CA — KBLA 1580 AM
Chicago, IL — WNTD 950 AM
Portland, OR — KPOJ 620 AM
Inland Empire, CA — KCAA 1050 AM
XM Satellite Radio — Channel 167

Or listen online by clicking this link: http://www.airamericaradio.com

Not only did the Clinton campaign work to stop Al Qaeda, but the Bush admiinistration shut it down:
"The most damaging remarks came from Gen. Henry H. Shelton, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff until Oct. 1, 2001. Shelton told us that in the Bush administration terrorism had moved "farther to the back burner." He also recounted how the Joint Chiefs of Staff, frustrated at the lack of progress in dealing with Al Qaeda, had begun a disinformation program in the last year of the Clinton administration to create dissent within the Taliban. But Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Defense Secretary Paul D. Wolfowitz shut it down. Counterterrorism, the new leadership felt, was not a military mission."

As many of you know, I share a house with 2 other people. One is moving out, and we're looking to fill the vacancy. The house is very modern, clean, and a short walk to the train station (NJTransit, Raritan Valley Line). We're GLBTI-friendly, poly-friendly, but not psychodrama-friendly. It's 2nd floor bedroom with shared used of a large first-floor. The house is large with 2 1/2 baths, back yard with deck off kitchen. Laundry room is in the basement area. Combined rent and utilities is about $600/month. Must be clean and professional. Interested? Contact me.

And before you ask... yes, this is a the house of free ice cream.
