I watched Suicide Kings on DVD last night with
lipzapart at her place. The plot is a little complicated: a girl is kidnapped and held for a large ransom. Her friends kidnap a mafia boss and refuse to let him go until he helps them get the girl back.

It's a good story, with a lot of good twists. I enjoyed it. (It had some bloody scenes, so be warned.)
While the plot had nothing to do with the movie 1982 film Diner but both films have something in common: they both starred a bunch of relatively unknown actors (except 0 or 1 really big names) who all became very famous in the next project that they did. One guy went on to be the crazy brother in Six Feet Under. In other words, these are the performances that got them noticed and booked for the project that made them big. I love that kind of movie.
