The fundamental problem with the situation in Iraq is that success is no longer likely.

Just curious. What was the trigger, milestone, event, or turning point where you now feel success is no longer likely ... which implies you thought success was likely before? (From my point of view, there was never much chance of success.) Also what do you think success would be? I see the Bush administration sort of behaving like Microsoft. When they don't meet with success, they redefine success to be the point at which they are at. (See ... features on any Microsoft product) (See ... Microsoft's record at never conforming to standards)

;-}

Hope you're doing well.

I'm with them... What's your definition of success, and what's changed?

We went in to remove Hussein from power. We did that.

We went in to stop terrorism. We never had a chance of doing that, or doing anything other than make things worse. In short, it's always been a lose/lose situation.
