I have a MacBook Pro 15"

My old Powerbook 15” started acting funny (doesn’t talk out the external video port, no audio from some programs but not others) so work replaced it. The new one is a MacBook Pro (the new Intel-based Mac).
It only feels slightly faster. Though, I haven’t maxed out the memory yet so it will be faster eventually.
I’m taking this opportunity to reload all my apps from scratch, making sure I have passwords, licenses, etc. I did copy over ~/Library from my old Mac and kept my fingers crossed. So far, so good.
