I still feel that McCain will win by a very tiny margin. What can change that is everyone (EVERYONE) who supports Obama making sure they and all their friends vote.

All the media claiming that Obama has it in the bag just makes Democrats feel that they don't need to show up, and McCain supporters more driven to show up. The early voting makes this worse... reports that 10% more Obama people are voting early just add to the effect. If all the McCain supporters show up on the last day, it doesn't matter what the early voting stats were. It's the total sore, not how the team did in the play-offs.

Republicans are very good at the end-game for "close races". Obama's strategy is to make sure there are no "close races" but I am not so hopeful.

I am, however, turning this fear and anger into action (as Dr. King encouraged). I've scheduled to take Nov 1-4 off from work and will be in Penn. driving people to the polls, phone banking, etc.

Not everyone can take days off from work. Here's a web site that asks a few questions about your preferences and suggests what you can do based on your answers:
Web site: Oh come on now. How could I possibly help?
