The VP debate is going to be a disaster

Palin does really well in debates, especially when the format puts such a short timelimit on answers. McCain's polling numbers are going to zoom up for the next week.

I'm pretty sure he's not joking AND that it is true.

She been in the same sort of political debates before (in Alaska) against well-informed, experienced, seasoned debaters and she won. She just stands up there giggling and babbling vacuous non-specific "bumper-sticker"-type phrases her campaign writers have drilled into her.

And when pressed to give an actual answer or show she has something in her head beside aqua-net she she turns "folksy-populist" as says things like "oh you know us Jill Six-Pack PTA Moms don't really know or care about all that government stuff".

And sadly so far, she's the one who has been proved correct.
