Both times I've gone to Australia my 2-hour stop-over in California was not enough. There would be bad weather in Newark and we wouldn't even take off for 4+ hours. Thus, I land in California and need to wait until the next day's flight (they do one flight per day).
I promised myself that my next trip would include a stop-over that is at least 4 hours. 10 was the best I could do.
