Happiness is putting your MetroCard in the machine and having the remaining balance be back to a multiple of 2 dollars (all because you accidentally took the “wrong” route to work today, which involved a PATH train)

Between subway rides and PATH rides, I'm always juggling between cards until I can happily get one down to zero. It's a great feeling.
