"This is one of four pre-conference institutes that will be held in conjunction with North American Conference on Bisexuality,” said, Richard Woulfe, conference committee chair. Four days of workshops, meetings, panel discussions and entertainment are planned. Workshop topics include Health, Sexuality, Gender, Bi Theory, Research, Relationships and Family, Spirituality, Bisexuality in Media, Film and Culture among others. “We have great workshops and presenters, leading edge entertainers and a beautiful host city, “ explained Alexei Guren, Conference Program Coordinator and BiNet USA President. “More than anything, this is going to be a fun event and a great opportunity for bisexual, bi-curious people and their lesbian, gay and straight friends and allies to gather and build community.”

Dr Ronald Fox, a psychotherapist in private practice and a member of the American Psychological Association’s Division 44 workgroup, and Patricia Dunn, JD and former Director of Public Policy of the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association will convene the day and a half Bisexual Health Summit which will bring together over 60 health care providers, policy markers and bi health advocates. “This is an exciting time!” said Luigi Ferrer, Executive Director of the Bisexual Foundation. “We are witnessing the birth of the new Bisexual Health Movement.”
