Travel Plans completed!

quietchris and I finally completed our travel plans for our vacation. June 30th to Vegas for a few days including a trip to Hoover Dam and a rockin’ 4th of July in Vegas, baby! Then we drive to Arizona for 5 days of things like the Grand Canyon, Sonoma, The Painted Desert, and other fun stuff. We return on July 11th.

Thanks to a gift from Continental I received for bumping to the next flight (a few months ago), Chris is flying for nearly free. We’re staying at Marriott hotels nearly exclusively, and by the end of the trip we might have enough Marriott points to stay for free next year.

There's a casino most of the way to the dam from Vegas. Big one, on the highway; you cen't miss it. I heartily recommend the lobster bisque at their steakhouse. I think the steakhouse used to open at 5:00.
