That's pretty cool, but when it comes to directions, Google maps really needs to tackle the problem of giving better directions, much more than it needs niftier features. Just my opinion/experience (I still use mapquest for directions, even though they recently changed their map style so I find it almost as annoying and hard to read as Google's; their much better directions is still enough of an advantage).
