Democrats can win in 2004

Do the 51 million folks who voted for Gore - 537,000 more than voted for Bush - wake up each morning thinking, "Gee, this is really better than I expected! We've got peace and prosperity, we're funding the things that need to be funded, and, well - the guy really IS a uniter, not a divider." I don't think so.

I have to say there are a decent number of Bush voters who're getting pretty convinced that it's time for a regime change. My parents are among those, as are the very, very conservative parents of a friend of mine. I doubt they've reached the conclusions I have, which is that he's an international criminal and should be first tried for treason and then go in front of an international warcrimes tribunal... but they're ready to be rid of him regardless.
